Resilience is not a snapshot.

Sono works before capital is committed, during operations, and as conditions change. Each phase adds a layer of intelligence.

Site Intelligence

The same plot can look very different depending on what grid capacity is actually available, whether the water basin is under stress, or how many competing facilities are already queued for permits nearby. Sono combines those signals into a single score, calibrated against a growing reference population of European sites, so you can compare candidates on a common basis before committing capital.

No instrumentation required. Relevant for site selection, acquisition due diligence, and portfolio reviews.

Best grid access in portfolio. Taunus foothills reduce UHI exposure. Minor EnEfG gap addressable pre-build.

Continuous Intelligence

A facility built for 2018 climate assumptions is not the same facility in 2025. Free cooling hours shrink. Grid carbon intensity shifts. EnEfG deadlines approach. Sono tracks the gap between what an asset was designed for and what it is actually operating in, and translates that gap into a cost that appears on no balance sheet today.

Portfolio-level. No site visits. Relevant for asset managers, fund operators, and ESG teams who need to know where exposure is building before it becomes a write-down.

Free cooling hours down 18% since design baseline. Cost of gap: €214k/yr at current energy prices.
Summer ambient has exceeded the 2017 design assumption of 32°C on 61 days this year, vs. 14 days in the baseline period. At current PUE trajectory, the facility will miss the 2027 EnEfG target without active intervention.
Climate drift vs. design +2.4°C avg summer ambient above 2017 baseline
EnEfG compliance gap PUE 1.43 target 1.30 by Jan 2027 · 26 months
Grid carbon intensity 118 g/kWh ↓ 14% vs. last month · renewable share rising

Operational Intelligence

Predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and setpoint optimisation delivered to operations teams in plain language. Sono reads your existing historian, detects failure modes before alarms fire, traces root cause to specific equipment, and surfaces ranked recommendations with a confidence score.

No new hardware. No integration project. Historian-native. Physics-constrained so no physically impossible setpoint can ever be suggested.

Work with us on an early pilot

Data centres carry risk across five dimensions simultaneously. The data to track most of it already exists. Sono reads it, structures it, and gives your team something to act on.

We work with colocation operators, infrastructure fund managers, and OEM partners across Europe.
